Red Wine Orange Cranberry Sauce

It took me a year to combine the perfect ingredients and measurements to make this recipe. This red wine orange cranberry sauce recipe adds flavor to your dish by balancing the sweet and savory elements.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. fresh/ frozen cranberry
- 1 cup granulated sugar (white)
- 1 cinnamon stick (2-3 inches)
- zest of one large orange
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 tbsp. ginger, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg and mixed spice
Method:
-In a pot, add all ingredients over medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes.
-Stir occasionally.
-Remove from heat and cool for at least 15 minutes.
