My Famous Bread Pudding Recipe

Do you have stale bread just siting in your bread pan or fridge, waiting to get new life? Are you tired of wasting your money and watching your bread go bad? Well it's time to give your stale bread a second chance at life and turn them into something delicious with this moist, sweet, fruity and easy-to-do recipe.


Ingredients:
  • 5 slices of stale bread (you have the option of using fresh)
  • 2 TBSP Butter (soft-room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 TBSP vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp rosewater extract
  • 1 tsp nutmeg, cinnamon and mixed spice powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup of soaked fruits-raisins, dates, ect with liquid, 50/50 each (soak fruits in sweet wine for a couple of days)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
NB// The soaked fruits are optional, so if you aren't going to use it then go ahead and add in the 1/2 of sweet wine or just use 2 cups of milk to make it kid friendly.


Method:

- Butter bread sliced, chop them up then arrange in pan.
- Combine all ingredients.
- Pour mixture into bread pan and let it sit for 15-20 mins.
- Bake for 45 mins. at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
